The estimates are not quotes

Every figure this site produces is a planning estimate generated by a model from inputs you supplied. It is not an offer, a proposal, a bid, a contract, or professional advice you should rely on without independent verification — and it is not a guarantee that any vendor will build your software for that amount.

Actual cost depends on your final requirements, the technical specification, the team you engage, integrations, regulatory obligations, timeline pressure and scope changes during delivery. Real projects land outside the range shown here in both directions.

Use these numbers to build a budget, frame a conversation and sanity-check a proposal. Do not use them as the basis of a fixed-price commitment, a fundraising document, or a contractual obligation.

Acceptable use

You may:

• use the calculator for your own commercial or personal planning
• share your results, including with vendors you are evaluating
• quote or cite figures with attribution and a link

You may not:

• present our estimates as your own quote, or as a quote from us
• scrape or bulk-extract the site to reproduce the model elsewhere
• interfere with the availability or security of the site
• remove the disclaimers that accompany the figures

Product, company and platform names referenced here — operating systems, app stores, vendors and systems of record — are the property of their respective owners. Their use is nominative, for identification and comparison only. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is claimed or implied.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, its design and the cost model behind it are owned by Taction Software LLC. Taction Software® is a registered trademark of Taction Software LLC (USA). The estimate you generate from your own inputs is yours to use within the terms above.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taction Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business decisions made in reliance on figures from this site. Because the site is free, our total aggregate liability in connection with it is limited to zero dollars — which is what you paid. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We may change the model, the rates, the content or these terms at any time, and we may withdraw the site. Where the model changes, previously generated estimates will not necessarily reproduce — the current model is the one on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Taction Software LLC is organised.
